ATLANTA, Feb. 23, 2016 / The WorkingBuildings Group of Companies received LEED PLATINUM for Commercial Interiors for their corporate office in Atlanta, Georgia.

WorkingBuildings was able to achieve this highest-level certification by using a number of sustainable practices.  They were able to minimize material use and diverted over 75% of construction waste materials from landfills. National Institutes of Health Announces the New Advisory Committee to the Director

ATLANTA, Jan. 18, 2016 / In June of 2015, National Institutes of Health (NIH) announced the closure of the sterile production unit of the Pharmaceutical Development Section (PDS) within the NIH Clinical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. During an inspection, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) identified problems with facilities, equipment, procedures, and training protocols. To address the FDA’s findings, NIH has proposed establishing an Office of Research Support to improve and maintain compliance with research regulations and standards at the PDS.

WorkingBuildings Wins Contract with New Jersey Public Health, Environmental and Agricultural Laboratory

ATLANTA, July 22, 2015 / The State of New Jersey awarded The WorkingBuildings Group of Companies a five-year contract to provide facility management and operation services for one of the nation’s premier public health laboratories.

The Health, Environmental and Agricultural Laboratory comprises different space types necessary to support the agency’s current health, agricultural and environmental missions. Of the 200,000-square-foot facility, just over half is dedicated to specialized laboratories. The rest is administrative and support space.
