Our team of medical professionals, administrators, and facility engineers provides a broad range of services for the turnkey operation of healthcare facilities in resource-constrained environments. Recognizing that the traditional service delivery model of healthcare cannot be simply transplanted into resource constrained environments, WorkingBuildings has developed unique and proven solutions that provide interim or even long-term healthcare solutions that address all areas of hospital services. Our team is united under the WB – WorkingHospitals umbrella, providing management services for hospitals such as: executive and administrative management, program development, compliance, medical staffing and facility engineering. Whether you are looking for a short-term temporary solution, staffing augmentation in remote areas, mobile solutions that provide flexibility in clinical support, or even long-term total turnkey solutions, WorkingHospitals has the capabilities to customize an approach that can address healthcare needs in crisis environments and resource constrained areas.
Equal to our understanding of the needs of resource-constrained environments and our work developing processes to ensure those needs are met is our understanding of the consequences of failure. As a member of the medical community, we understand the devastation that comes when a medical facility does not operate as intended, stands idle, or cannot function due to supply chain deficiencies. We understand the need to be operational at all times and ensure that each medical facility is equipped with proper equipment, systems, processes, and staff to prevent failure given the environment that it must operate within.
Part of understanding the nature of these mission-critical facilities is understanding the needs of the community that the medical facility will serve. We have developed processes for a spectrum of medical facilities. Our experience includes walk-in clinics, emergency facilities, hospital campuses, mobile and modular hospitals, and inclusive medical centers. Every medical facility has a community-specific purpose, and our staff has worked extensively on the range of medical facilities.
Michael L. Weiss, the President and CEO of The WorkingBuildings Companies, has been invited by the Academy for Healthcare Infrastructure (AHI) to participate in their Collaborative Research Program. This group was formed under the National Institute of Building Sciences to improve the processes used to create and maintain the complex built environment required to effectively support America’s healthcare mission. Determination of physical capabilities of existing facilities in challenged or stable environments is an important aspect of our services. The determination of proper solutions begins with in-depth program, facility, and protocol review. Solutions can only be implemented by understating your facility’s capabilities, systems, and needs. To accomplish this task, we will dispatch our senior strategic management and facilities operational support team to your site to begin the initial physical assessment. The assessment may include a review of your existing compliance program verification, management teams, medical gap analysis, and facility engineering physical site assessments.
Our management and facilities operational teams can assist in defining patient types and services provided based on an assessment of needs and of available or proposed spaces. We are also available to describe the number of available beds for each type of service and the utilization projects for each, as well as supply chain needs and/or deficiencies.
We can provide Hospital Compliance Officers and Quality Assurance (QA) teams.
Through our vast network of medical professionals we are able to provide qualified personnel who are organized to meet the needs of the facility and the patients while maintaining established standards and medical practices.
