During that time our relationship with the General Services Administration has grown from a single service provider to program manager in several projects including the development of the commissioning section of the Whole Building Design Guideline. Professional services provided to GSA include: commissioning, retro-commissioning, LEED consulting, IEQ and Risk Threat Analysis. We value our relationship with the GSA having served as the chair of the General Services Administration’s commissioning review team responsible for the delivery of writing for the GSA’s national commissioning guidelines.
WorkingBuildings is currently providing commissioning services to the GSA for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s National Center for Weather and Climate Prediction in Prince George’s County, MD, the Martin Luther King Jr. Federal Building in Atlanta, Georgia, the Social Security Administration Building in Birmingham, AL, and the Laredo, Texas, courthouse.
In order to provide reliable and fully verifiable documentation, WorkingBuildings uses CxAlloy, a secure, web-based software developed by WB, to track the project from the design phase to occupancy and warranty. This program allows all members of the project team to have real time access to documents, issues and project information saving the team countless man-hours and resources by increasing team efficiency.
WorkingBuildings services can be contracted directly via the GSA Schedule of Services or through our national IDIQ for Commissioning and Expert Services contract.
