Project Description

CVS CareMark retained WorkingBuildings to provide commissioning services for their new data center and office building. Systems commissioned include the mechanical, electrical, fire alarm, fire protection and plumbing systems. Our commissioning team identified 199 design and construction issues during this project. The office portion achieved LEED certification.

This (Tier 4 designed) 6 MW data center was supplied by two UPSs, expandable to three, and backed up by two separate closed transition switchgear. The distribution systems were tied together in multiple locations to provide additional redundancy. Cooling for the data center was provided by two redundant chiller plants to supply chilled water to CRAC units spaced throughout the data center areas.
