States Green Building Council (USGBC) and maintains a staff of dedicated
LEED professionals including USGBC LEED faculty and committee members.

WorkingBuildings has delivered many firsts for Green Buildings including the first
State of Tennessee LEED project, ORNL Joint Institute for Computational Sciences,
a LEED Silver facility; as well as the first LEED certified business conference
center, Callaway Gardens Southern Pine Conference Center; and even the first LEED
Silver Commercial Interior at our own headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia.
WB has experience commissioning and consulting for facilities ranging from Energy Star,
Labs21 and LEED certified to platinum. Facility types include laboratories, office
buildings, schools, universities and manufacturing sites.
Energy Modeling
Now mandated by the USGBC as a part of the LEED program, WorkingBuildings maintains
a group of energy modeling professionals throughout our corporate offices. These
professionals have performed energy modeling for universities, government facilities,
office buildings, retail, conference centers and laboratories. Energy modeling is performed
in accordance to ASHRAE 90.1-2004 Appendix G. WorkingBuildings will evaluate the cause and
effect, identify synergies, evaluate life-cycle costs and make relative comparisons
in its calculations.
