WorkingBuildings Wins Contract with New Jersey Public Health, Environmental and Agricultural Laboratory
July 22, 2015
The State of New Jersey awarded The WB Group a five-year contract to provide facility management and operation services for one of the nation’s premier public health laboratories.
The Health, Environmental and Agricultural Laboratory comprises different space types necessary to support the agency’s current health, agricultural and environmental missions. Of the 200,000-square-foot facility, just over half is dedicated to specialized laboratories. The rest is administrative and support space. WorkingBuildings previously provided commissioning services at the facility.
Michael L. Weiss, President and CEO of WorkingBuildings, said, “We are very pleased to continue our long-standing partnership with the State of New Jersey by providing support services at NJPHEAL. Our on-site teams played an important part during the design and construction of the PHEAL and, over the last three years, in the ongoing operations. The award of this new contract to WorkingBuildings is a testament to the outstanding support we deliver to the State. Our teams blend a high degree of professionalism, unparalleled customer support, and technical savvy—a necessary combination to run a complex biological laboratory.”
