The WorkingBuildings Group of Companies Announces New Hire

The WorkingBuildings Group of Companies is pleased to announce the addition of Valerie J. Connors as Senior Controller. Mrs. Connors comes to WorkingBuildings after spending the last nine years with an Atlanta A/E firm. Mrs. Connors has over 35 years of experience as a business analyst and has spent the last 20 years in the A/E industry.
In addition to her work as a controller, CFO, and business analyst, Mrs. Connors is a celebrated author of three novels, with a fourth in the works. From 2013 to 2015, she served as president of the Atlanta Writers Club, a local organization with 700 members and a rich 101-year history. She remains an active member and currently holds two positions in the club: Vice President of Programming, and Treasurer.
At WorkingBuildings, Mrs. Connors will oversee Accounting and Human Resources. She will work with the Accounting department to continue to increase efficiency. As the overseer of Human Resources, she will focus on strengthening employee relations and improving career development processes. Her expertise with the software systems will have a profound impact on project setup, project accounting, and contract management. Mrs. Connors has a Bachelor of Science in Business and Finance from Portland State University.
