WorkingBuildings Awarded Contracts With Two Prominent Southeast Health Systems

WorkingBuildings is proud to announce the award of contracts with two esteemed healthcare institutions in the southeast: Piedmont Healthcare and Mission Health.

Piedmont Healthcare’s $603 million overhaul of their hospital’s main campus in Buckhead will add 114 general hospital beds and a new 16-story tower to the campus. The new Marcus Tower will be anchored by Piedmont’s Marcus Heart and Vascular Center. The space will include 10 shared operating rooms relocated from the main surgical suite and three new inpatient operating rooms, eight cardiac catheterization labs (six of which are being relocated), and four electrophysiology labs (also being relocated to the tower).

Mission Health’s new Ancillary Services and Patient Tower will unify the main Mission campus in Asheville, North Carolina. The new project will include a full complement of surgery, interventional procedures, emergency trauma center, imaging, 44 intensive care units, and 176 surgical / surgical patient rooms.
